The Bronx Organizer is responsible for leading our mobilization efforts around the fight for a fair economy. The Organizer is responsible for implementing a field operation plan; maintaining, establishing and building alliances with community-based entities; and for creating opportunities for civic engagement, leadership development and base-building.

Long Island Civic Participation Project
The Long Island Civic Participation Project brings together union and community members to develop and support campaigns that promote dignity and human rights of workers and immigrants in our society. We are hiring a Senior Organizer to continue building our base for immigrant community activism in Hempstead and surrounding areas in Nassau County.

Social Justice Leadership (SJL) offers training and leadership development for social justice organizations.  Our mission is to help usher in the transformation to a just society by catalyzing a new generation of social justice leaders, organizations, and alliances with the skills, analysis, and competency to lead a renewed social justice movement.  Our work takes the form of long-term training programs for groups of organizations, customized training for single organizations, and leadership coaching for individuals.

Hand in Hand is a national network of employers of nannies, housecleaners and home attendants, their families and allies who are grounded in the conviction that dignified and respectful working conditions benefit worker and employer alike.  We envision a future where people live in caring communities that recognize all of our interdependence. To get there, we support employers to improve their employment relationships, and to collaborate with workers to change cultural norms and public policies that bring dignity and respect to domestic workers and all of our communities.
